Lee Christopher Gough posted the clip of himself on Facebook wielding a knife in his hand. The 35-year-old said he was going to kill unnamed people and that he was driving a stolen vehicle. Prosecution barrister, Christopher Pix, told Southampton Crown Court that Gough, of Northam Road, drove from Ringwood to Southampton where he intended to drive off a pier. The defendant had been drinking in pubs in the New Forest town with his boss and watching the England vs Croatia game on June 13 this year.
Uninsured Southampton driver banned for six months A SOUTHAMPTON driver has been banned for driving with no insurance. Cosmin-Elvis Encea was caught by the police on Waterloo Road, Freemantle, on October 18 last year, a court heard. Encea, 26, of Northam Road, Northam, was not in court but under the single justice procedure admitted the offence and also driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence. Magistrates in Basingstoke disqualified him for six months for repeat offending and fined him £461 with a £46 victim surcharge and £90 costs.
