A 24-year-old man was shot at Sunset Hill Shooting Range in Paradise Township Sunday afternoon, according to Pocono Township Police.
Police chief Kent Werkheiser said the man, whose name has not yet been released, injured himself with a shotgun just before 2:30 p.m. He was flown by medevac to a hospital for treatment, and an update on his condition has not yet been released. No one else was injured. The instructor, in the video that I saw, was less than two feet away from him, Werkheiser said. Tobyhanna man arrested for homicide after Swiftwater shooting
A Tobyhanna man is in custody on a homicide charge after allegedly shooting another Tobyhanna man Tuesday evening at Swiftwater Luxury Apartments on Route 611.
Jamaine Wilkins, 49, is accused of shooting 38-year-old Prince X. Brown twice, according to a release from the Pocono Township Police Department.
The shooting, which took place in the parking lot, followed a verbal altercation, police said. The men were described as familiar with each other.
Brown was taken to St. Luke s Medical Center in Bartonsville, where he was pronounced dead.
The Pocono Township Police were assisted with the investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police.
