Southern Minnesota deputy injured after hitting cows

Gracie Stockton Created: July 15, 2021 05:23 PM A deputy was injured after striking cattle in rural Minnesota early Thursday morning. At about 2:20 a.m., Brown County Deputy Justin Bauer, 32, was responding to a call about suspicious activity at a farm in Sleepy Eye, west of Mankato. He was traveling at a speed less than 55 mph due to fog when he hit cattle in the middle of 280th Avenue, according to the Brown County Sheriff s Office. Bauer suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance to the New Ulm Medical Center. He was released Thursday. The 2016 Ford Explorer Interceptor squad car he was in received more than $13,000 in damage, the sheriff s office said.

The 14 stations depicting the Passion and Crucifixion of Jesus are housed in the small enclosures along the route, leading to a small chapel at the top of the hill behind the New Ulm Medical Center. William F Bill Seemann | News, Sports, Jobs

William F. “Bill” Seemann New Ulm Bill Seemann, 82, of New Ulm peacefully passed away at his home in the warm embrace of his family on Feb. 3. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Bill was born on July 14, 1938 to Cora and Amor Seemann. Bill is survived by his wife Joanne of New Ulm. They were blessed to be married for 63 years. They had 5 children. Todd (Jodi) Seemann of Cass Lake, Keri (Keith) Doetkott of Arlington, Kimi (Doug) Pomplun of Fairfax, Troy (Kim) Seemann of Hutchinson, and Kathi Lietzau. They have 15 gandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Also survived by one brother Dennis (Claudia) Seemann of Edina and one sister Jane (Jim) Krzmarzick of Owatonna.
