updated: Apr 01 2021, 16:23 ist  A group of Karnataka ministers on Thursday strongly backed Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa a day after senior Minister KS Eshwarappa accused him of running an authoritarian administration and interfering with the affairs of his Rural Development & Panchayat Raj (RDPR) department.  Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Revenue Minister R Ashoka, Health Minister K Sudhakar and Agriculture Minister BC Patil came out in support of Yediyurappa, who is yet to break his silence on the issue.  On Wednesday, RDPR Minister KS Eshwarappa met Governor Vajubhai R Vala with a 5-page complaint against Yediyurappa for “direct interference, serious lapses and authoritarian way of running the administration”, which caused ripples in the ruling BJP.

Sex tape case: 6 Karnataka ministers move court to restrain media ANI | Updated: Mar 06, 2021 06:17 IST Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], March 6 (ANI): A total of six ministers in the B S Yediyurappa government on Friday moved a Bengaluru court seeking a stay against media outlets from publishing or broadcasting anything defamatory against them. The ministers include B Basavaraj, Dr K Sudhakar, BC Patil, Shivram Hebbar, H T Somashekar and K C Narayana Gowda moved a city court moved the Bengaluru court and demanded the media to stop broadcasting/printing/publishing any defamatory or unauthenticated content about them. The six Karnataka ministers have moved to Civil Court here in connection with a sex tape case allegedly involving Ramesh Jarkiholi, who recently resigned as minister.
