New Delhi: Suzuki Motorcycle India on Monday launched the third-generation model of Hayabusa at Rs 16.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Under the product concept “Ultimate Sport”, inherited from the very first generation, the 3rd-gen Hayabusa has further evolved the unique styling design with outstanding aerodynamic performance and superior riding performance. Various mode selections are offered for each electronic control system to better fit varying riding scenes from city riding to touring, racetracks, and better service for riders’ preferences and skill levels.
Considering the riders are quite familiar with the original silhouette and layout of instrument console of previous generations’ Hayabusa sport bikes, Suzuki has retained both in the new generation model. However, the instrumental console containing large analogue meter and tachometer will now be equipped with number of new touches that will make its functions shine even brighter.
The new Hayabusa is powered by a 1,340cc, four-stroke, fuel-injected liquid-cooled, DOHC, 4-cylinder engine that delivers 187 BHP @ 9,700 rpm and 150 Nm @ 7,000 rpm. This engine complies with BS6 emission norms.
