RADNOR â Residents in Radnorâs Third Ward will be represented by their own commissioner once again.
Radnor Township officials approved the appointment of an interim commissioner to fill the vacancy created by the recent resignation of Damien Enderle.
At a special meeting, the six remaining commissioners and the chair of the township vacancy board selected Catherine H. Agnew to fill the seat until a special election is held in November.

Enderle announced last month that he was resigning from the post.
Agnew was picked over two other candidates, Baron Gemmer and Charles E. Madden III, who also applied for the post.
RADNOR â Volunteer firefighters and EMS personnel living in Radnor could soon get a little something extra for their time and efforts.
Although the details need to be worked out, Radnor Township officials are beginning to discuss a plan to give qualifying volunteer firefighters and EMS personnel a property tax rebate or a stipend. The issue was raised at a board meeting this week by Commissioner Lisa Borowski.
âThere are other municipalities that do this,â Borowski said during a board meeting this week. âLower Merion for one does offer a volunteer tax credit for those volunteer first responders.â

In Lower Merion, the program includes fire companies in Lower Merion, Narberth and Narberth Ambulance.Â
From an elected commissioner to township and borough management, there have been several announced changes in municipal leadership along the Main Line over the past week.
NARBERTH â At a recent Narberth Council meeting, officials announced that acting borough manager Matt West was leaving the borough for a new position in Bucks County.
West, who took over borough management in December after former manager Sean Metrick left for a new position in Chester County, will become township manager in New Britain Township, Bucks County.

During the same meeting, officials also announced that Samantha Bryant, the current manager of New Britain Borough, Bucks County, was being hired as Narberthâs borough manager.
RADNORÂ â An effort put forth by one Radnor commissioner to censure another member over a Twitter dispute quickly died as three Democrats joined a Republican to kill the action.
At a board meeting this week, Radnor Commissioner Sean Farhy, a Democrat, proposed the board censure a fellow commissioner, Republican Jake Abel, for blocking him on Twitter.
Farhy cited the 2019 case, Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia University v. Trump, where a federal court upheld a lower courtâs decision that former president Trump violated the free speech clause of the First Amendment by blocking people on Twitter.

âThe blocking of both public officials and/or private citizens is a violation of the First Amendment which he swore to uphold when he took his oath of office. The Board of Commissioners should formally distance themselves from this type of unethical and immoral behavior which has now been deemed by a U.S. Federal Court as unconstitutional an
