(Shutterstock) RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA Infrastructure that mitigates flooding just got a $500,000 boost in Radnor Township where the township board president says flooding is destroying homes. State Rep. Jennifer O Mara (D-165th) announced today that Radnor Township has received a $500,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. The funding will contribute to Valley Run s streambank stabilization and extending the culvert on Robinhood Road. O Mara said extending the culvert would eliminate the potential for further erosion, which contributes to severe floods. The project also includes incorporation or relocation of the concrete-encased sewer main and downstream sewer lateral work.
