Nittany Lions continue Spring Drills 9:48 pm
Penn state continued their Spring Drills on Monday. There is no doubt that the Nittany Lions can’t wait for the 2021 Season to get here and can’t wait to return to normal. For right now, that will not be the case especially with the COVID Pandemic still in existence. One of the big topics across the Country is Vaccinations. Several States are increasing their numbers and allowing more age groups to get their shots.
Head Coach James Franklin was asked about this topic last week. He said their routine will not change for the time being and they’ll continue to be cautious and follow their guidelines. He did not give any indication if and when his guys will get the shots, but he says he can’t wait to get back to a regular life on the Gridiron. See video for comments from Coach Franklin…

Nittany Lions Win 3 Straight 9:24 pm
After going down to Michigan State 21-10 at the Half, the Nittany Lions were able to turn in on in a big way. They out-gained them and won the turnover battle and the time of possession battle. QB Sean Clifford had another great performance leading the Offense and the Defense was able to step up right when it was needed. Head Coach James Franklin said their 2nd Half adjustments were the key to the Win and it came down to great leadership in the locker room. See video for comments from Coach Franklin.
The Nittany Lions know their next opponent. They will face off with Illinois from Beaver Stadium on Saturday at 5:30. The game will be broadcast on FS1. The Blue and White lead the all time series against Illinois 19-5.
