In a video posted by Cal Fire Butte Unit and Butte County Fire Department, the men said they hopped the fence and dove into action. The rescued the boy and said they were able to breathe a sigh of relief when he started crying, saying when they get enough air to cry, that means their airway is no longer blocked. The boy was sent to a nearby hospital to check for further injuries. The group of firefighters were staying at the hotel in Northern California as they work on batting the ongoing Dixie Fire that has burned over 208,000 acres and currently ranks as the state s 14th largest fire in its history.
