REGIONAL Four more Cottonwood County residents and four more Pipestone County residents received positive COVID-19 results during the 24-hour period that ended at 4 p.m. Wednesday, according to this morning’s update from the Minnesota Department of Health.
Meanwhile, there were two new cases each in Jackson and Murray counties, as well as one new case each in Rock County and no new cases in Nobles County. There were 1,661 new cases statewide during the single-day reporting period.
The cumulative total of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in Minnesota now stands at 584,227 (positive and antigen tests), with 563,364 beyond the 10-day isolation period. Thus far, 41,759 Minnesota health care workers have contracted the virus.

Meanwhile, there were four new cases in Nobles County, three new cases each in Murray and Rock counties, and two new cases each in Jackson and Pipestone counties. They were among 1,267 new cases statewide during the single-day reporting period.

REGIONAL Rock County has added five new cases of COVID-19, according to Sunday morning s update from the Minnesota Department of Health, while Nobles County reported three new cases.
Cottonwood, Murray and Pipestone counties each added one new case of the novel coronavirus, and Jackson County had no new cases. The cumulative total of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in Minnesota now stands at 579,235 (positive and antigen tests) following the addition of 1,713 new cases.; 555,214 are beyond the 10-day isolation period. Thus far, 41,501 Minnesota health care workers have contracted the virus.
