Nobles County has four new cases of the virus.

REGIONAL — Another nine Cottonwood County residents received positive COVID-19 results during the 24-hour period that ended at 4 p.m. Tuesday, according to this morning’s update from the Minnesota Department of Health. Meanwhile, there were four new cases in Nobles County, three new cases each in Murray and Rock counties, and two new cases each in Jackson and Pipestone counties. They were among 1,267 new cases statewide during the single-day reporting period.
The cumulative total of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in Minnesota now stands at 582,576 (positive and antigen tests), with 562,376 beyond the 10-day isolation period. Thus far, 41,675 Minnesota health care workers have contracted the virus.
