Federal prosecutors had sought to have Brandon C. Fellows’ release fully revoked due to the items cited, but a federal judge last week instead placed him on home confinement, increased from prior conditions that included GPS monitoring and a curfew.

Families enjoy playing game to raise money in Niskayuna | The Daily Gazette SECTIONS Shares0 NISKAYUNA – Wind and colder than normal temperatures didn’t stop a couple dozen people from dabbing bingo cards with markers at River Road Park Saturday afternoon as part of an event to raise money for two organizations.  Instead, they bundled up in coats and blankets and hoped for the caller to pick the right balls for them. Laura D’Arpino said she felt “pretty good” after winning the first game. She had shown up with a couple of friends from school and their parents to support The Warrior Project. She won a small $5 gift card. The big prize of the day was a personal protective equipment basket that included a mask and hand sanitizer.

Siena student urging classmates to get vaccinated | The Daily Gazette SECTIONS Shares0 Nathaniel Kim said he misses seeing his friends and feeling safe hanging out with them. “There’s really not much you can do with your friends, so if we do get everyone vaccinated we’ll definitely have a nicer time that we can just have hanging out with our friends as opposed to just being completely in our rooms or doing things outside,” he said. “Also just like not worrying about getting sick too.” Kim, a pre-med student, sits on the Student Senate COVID safety and vaccine committee. He along with his co-chair Annamaria Walden are working on educating students about the safety of the vaccine.

This year s awards show will focus on individual actors and actresses and will be pre-recorded.Gary McPherson  Proctors announced the nominees for the 2021 High School Musical Theatre Awards at Proctors at a live event on Wednesday. Due to schools being unable to perform live musicals,  14 schools participated in the event s fifth year, plus an additional 19 individual students (not associated with a participating school) submitted a virtual audition for adjudicators in Best Actor and Best Actress categories.  “This year more than ever, in a year of cancelled high school performances and empty auditoriums, said Philip Morris, CEO of Proctors Collaborative, we are taking a minute to recognize those students who would have excelled in their school’s productions.”
