CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu state universities will conduct an online exam for all students starting June 14. The re-exam for students who wrote an online exam in February and regular exam for engineering students studying in even semesters will be conducted from June 14 to July 30. All universities except Anna University will conduct semester and arrear exams from June 15 to July 15. The exam results will be released before July 30, a release from the state government said on Monday.
According to the release, higher education minister K Ponmudi conducted a meeting with vice-chancellors of universities through video-conference. In the meeting, the V-Cs decided to postpone the online semester exams planned to conduct from May 25 due to Covid-19.

The online examinations may continue: Ministry of Human Resource and Development The Union government on Monday instructed all centrally funded institutions to postpone all offline exams scheduled in May.
“In the context of existing situation, I urge all the heads of Centrally Funded Institutions to postpone the offline examinations scheduled in the month of May 2021. The online examinations may however continue,” wrote Secretary, Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Amit Khare, in a letter to all Vice-Chancellors.
