Inhalt Als die beiden Sprösslinge des wohlhabenden Mr. Davenport (Frank Converse) ermordet wurden, gerät sofort dessen zweite Ehefrau, Tina (Noelle Beck), in Verdacht. Tinas Verhältnis zu den Kindern war schon immer angespannt. Als ihre Unschuld jedoch mit Sicherheit bewiesen werden kann, nehmen die Ermittler das Kindermädchen der Nachbarn, Hannah (Merritt Wever), genauer unter die Lupe. Hannah wurde als Kind von Heim zu Heim geschickt und scheint sich nun in die Idee verrannt zu haben, dass es sich bei Mr. Davenport um ihren leiblichen Vater handelt.
