(MURFREESBORO) It s time to clean your closets for a great cause! Haverty s in The Avenue of Murfreesboro has joined with Bob Lamb s Exit Realty to collect furniture, appliances, windows, doors, lighting, cabinets and more for the Rutherford County Area Habitat for Humanity.
Habitat s Executive Director Terri Shultz said, Bring your donations to Haverty s on Saturday, May 15, from 10AM-1PM. That s next week, so you have some time to clean out the garage, attic or storeroom at the office.
She noted, The donated goods go to the Habitat ReStore at 850 Mercury Boulevard. This store is open to the public and is packed with savings. All of the items are recycled and the proceeds help to build affordable housing.
