CROW, Tipsy Turtle to team up for wildlife By CROW - | Jul 28, 2021 CROW The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife and Tipsy Turtle Restaurant and Back Bar will host a “Tipsy Tortoise” event on Aug. 3 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the eatery, at 1223 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel. The family-friendly night will feature CROW’s Animal Ambassador Gigi, the Virginia opossum. She will be out to meet and greet patrons, while CROW’s education staff shares fun facts and information about North America’s only marsupial species. The restaurant will donate 50 percent of the food and beverages sales to help wildlife recovering at CROW’s hospital. The “wild” nights at the Tipsy Turtle will continue to take place the first Tuesday each month, with a different Animal Ambassador in attendance.
