THE Christmas countdown has started early for one Flintshire charity who were thrilled to receive a bumper donation to start off their stocking fillers. Tesco Superstore in Mold have donated hundreds of pounds worth of toys to North Wales Superkids – who run an annual Toy Appeal at Christmas for disadvantaged children across the region. Charity founder Margaret Williams MBE visited the supermarket on Thursday afternoon to collect the toys and games worth around £250 with two of her Christmas helpers – daughter Becky and volunteer Jess Walker. The gift also included Bluetooth headphones and touch screen-friendly gloves which will help pad out the gift packs for older children. Cleaning supplies were also put in as an extra to help with the upkeep of their caravan project too.
