Hull City’s director of football operations Adam Pearson says the Tigers are yet to receive any enquiries regarding Town loanee Jimmy Bullard. Blues boss Paul Jewell recently said that he had spoken to his former Derby colleague about the 32-year-old Town Player of the Year and also that he understood that there was interest from other clubs.
That friendly marked the only time Michael Mancienne featured in the senior England squad – before he had even made his Premier League debut.
Mancienne was a name to watch, however. An England Under-21 regular, the Chelsea academy product had been impressing for a number of years with his performances on loan in the Championship.
An early senior international call-up seemed a logical step on the ladder towards a long career for both the Three Lions as well as at Stamford Bridge.
Yet, as for so many who have attempted to crack the Chelsea first team from the academy in the Premier League era, things did not work out that way.
EURO VISION
Roma are seventh in Serie A and cannot finish in the top four.
And they ll need an absolute miracle against Manchester United in the Europa League semi-final second leg this week to come from 6-2 behind.
Mourinho s first task will be to get this proud club back into the Champions League.
They were semi-finalists just three years ago when they were beaten by Liverpool but it s been downhill ever since.

Town Latest League Club to Check Out Mann Sunday, 1st May 2011 10:17
TWTD understands that Town watched Brantham Athletic striker Ollie Mann as he netted a hat-trick in his side’s 6-2 Ridgeons League Premier Division victory at Newmarket Town yesterday. Dagenham and Redbridge, Leyton Orient and Southend have all previously checked out the 21-year-old, who has now scored 41 league goals this season.
Last Saturday, Daggers boss John Still was joined by his chief scout Mick Loughton to run the rule over Mann as he scored in a 2-1 home defeat to Great Yarmouth Town and he is set to train with the League One club this week.
