Jewell: Fully Fit Squad for Peterborough Thursday, 15th Mar 2012 14:02
Town boss Paul Jewell has a fully fit squad to choose from ahead of Saturday’s home game against Peterborough United. Midfielder Grant Leadbitter is back in training after suffering a groin injury having scored both Blues goals in last Saturday’s 2-2 draw at Hull City.
Jewell said: “Grant trained this morning. He came off on Saturday, which is quite worrying because Grant doesn’t come off for no reason.
“He had a scan on Sunday and it didn’t show a tear, so he’s improved rapidly, he’s been training this morning and we’ve got a fully fit squad.”
Judge: We ll Probably Sit Down in a Few Weeks
Wednesday, 13th Mar 2019 17:30
Midfielder Alan Judge says he expects to sit down and hold talks with the Blues regarding his future in the next few weeks. The 30-year-old has been Town’s standout performer since joining the club during the January transfer window for a nominal fee from Brentford on a short-term deal which runs out in the summer.
Quizzed on his future beyond the end of the season following last night’s 1-1 draw at Bristol City, Judge said: “We’ll see what happens. At the minute it’s just me playing every game and I’m enjoying every minute of it at the moment.”

Inconveniently, I have very little experience dealing with the gee-gees in this column. But luckily there is plenty of knowhow to call upon vis-a-vis the dangerous force at the heart of the week’s big story banter.
Jewell Targeting Loanees for Weekend Monday, 14th Feb 2011 14:15
Town manager Paul Jewell has revealed that he is looking to add “one or two” loanees to his squad before the weekend. The Blues boss was giving no hints on their identities but one is likely to be a central midfield player with skipper David Norris sidelined and loan signing Jimmy Bullard unavailable against his parent club Hull City on Saturday.
Jewell said: “I’m trying to get one or two in for the weekend. I can’t say too much because it might not happen, but hopefully by Thursday I’ll be able to tell you.
Boss Paul Jewell says he’s not yet decided who will stand in as skipper when the Blues take on Doncaster at the Keepmoat Stadium on Tuesday (KO 7.45pm). Regular captain Norris is out after twisting his knee and ankle at Barnsley on Saturday.
