Swadhar Scholarship Scheme are in a financial fix as the scholarship money has not come in, but moneylenders have started visiting their homes to collect on the loans they had taken in the interim, to continue learning. Multiple requests about the status of the money made by the students to various authorities have also fallen on deaf ears.
The Swadhar Scholarship Scheme is available to pupils who have secured admission to any branch of study post Class X. Those who belong to a scheduled caste and do not have any means of accommodation can enroll as beneficiaries in this scheme. In 2019-2020, more than 17,000 students across
