MPSC) examinations have left aspirants disgruntled. Expressing their objections to the changed directives, candidates have written to Chief Minister
Uddhav Thackeray, urging him to reconsider the decision.
As per the new MPSC mandates, it has been decided to limit the maximum number of attempts to six for open category candidates, while aspirants from reserved categories could attempt for nine times at the most to clear the papers.

Sangeeta Davkar, assistant commissioner of the department, informed that some colleges have been dragging their feet in furnishing details of students eligible for scholarship, which is impacting the disbursal of the funds through
direct bank transfers to the student accounts. This has happened despite several reminders issued to the colleges, compelling the department to issue the notices pursuant to a decision taken earlier this week.
