A good simmer sauce does more than enhance the main ingredient it cooks with. It should also compliment everything else on the plate. A good sauce brings the entire meal together. But too often, off-the-shelf simmer sauces can seem overflavored. This is especially unfortunate when your side dishes are from different cuisines. The Specialty Food Association (SFA) will hold its sole in-person trade event the Summer Fancy Food Show Sept. 27-29, 2021, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.
After surveying buyers and consulting with SFA members, New York city and state officials, the Javits Center, and health experts to gauge the safety and viability of moving forward with a live event, the association determined that a modified, late third-quarter Fancy Food Show had the best chance of success in a safe environment.

NEW YORK, Jan. 26, 2021 /PRNewswire/ The Specialty Food Association (SFA) has scheduled its sole in-person trade show for 2021. Set for September 27-29, it will be known as the Fancy Food Show 2021 and held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City.
The SFA consulted with its members, New York City and State officials, the Javits Center, and health experts, to gauge the safety and viability of moving forward with a live event. After an intensive analysis, the SFA decided upon a modified, late third-quarter Fancy Food Show.
