Sebring concerts to move to South Side Park
The Alliance Review
After 15 years of downtown summer concerts at Sebring s Schreckengost gazebo, this year s performances will move to South Side Park.
This year, Sebring Business Association agreed to raise enough money to continue the summer concerts. The first of the season, on June 12, will feature the John Hampu Band performing old time rock and roll music.
The Business Association also has set up a Friends of the Park organization. The reason we moved the concerts to the park was to help bring attention to the needs of Sebring s parks and pool,” said Susan Sanor, concert coordinator. “We have beautiful parks that are under-used. We want to encourage people to come to the park.
