Road construction season is in full swing now and PennDOT has released its list of projects it is working on this week.
Along with mowing, sweeping and sign repair projects, crews will work on bridge maintenance projects on Old Route 119 in Center and White Townships, Route 119 in Rayne Township, Route 954 in Washington Township and Five Points Road in Armstrong and Washington Townships.

Someone who bought a Pennsylvania Lottery ticket in Bridgeville is going home richer.
A winning Cash 5 ticket worth $825,298 was sold Feb. 20 at CoGo’s along Station Street, according to Lottery officials.
The ticket matched all five numbers 8-24-34-39-43.
Store owners will get a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Winners are identified after prizes are claimed and Cash 5 tickets expire one year from the drawing date.
There were more than 38,700 other tickets that won smaller prizes in the drawing.
There have been several Cash 5 winners in recent months across the region.
On Jan. 9, a $195,000 winning Cash 5 ticket was sold at Thomas’ General Store along Saltsburg Road in Washington Township. That ticket was one of two that won the $390,000 jackpot. The other winning ticket was purchased at Rutter’s in York County.
