Through our project Annapoorna, we distribute grocery packs across Viti Levu, Vanua Levu and the maritime region to the underprivileged and needy families.” He said since this program s commencement in 2016, they have had the opportunity to help thousands of individuals and families who cannot look after themselves. “The pressure felt by families due to the current restricted movement situation has motivated the Foundation to do more.” We are deeply saddened by the plight faced by families particularly in Western Fiji where employment is heavily reliant upon the tourism industry.”

2,500 medical and non-medical personnel have received Heroes Gratitude Packs worth over $72,000 from Sai Prema Foundation and the NZ High Commission.
These are frontline workers who are serving across the various quarantine, containment, health, vaccination and other health facilities around the nation.
Each pack includes a 260ml MedX Hand Sanitizer, 1 litre Golden Circle Fruit Juice, Punjas Cookies, Sunrise Bhuja Packs, FMF Chow Noodles, Red Cow Milk Powder and Punjas Ceylon Tea Bags.

The Sai Prema Foundation will be having a blood drive at TappooCity today.
Sai Prema Foundation Director, Sumeet Tappoo says every pint of blood can save up to 3 lives.
Tappoo says they want to collect as much as possible as the hospitals are in constant need of blood.
He further says they encourage everyone to come and donate as it s a very simple procedure which will result in lives being saved.

A number of people turned up at TappooCity, Suva today to donate blood during a blood drive that was organised by the Sai Prema Foundation.
56-year-old blood donor, Uludovia Koroi says he is donating blood because he has family members in the hospital who need blood.
The retired army official is urging his friends, relatives and servicemen to donate blood and save at lease one life.
Another donor, Torika Yaca says she is donating blood because her blood group is O positive which persons of any blood group can receive.

Government’s ongoing relief efforts for Severe Tropical Cyclone Yasa and TC Ana was yet again boosted with the contribution of 1500 buckets of relief packs through a joint initiative between the New Zealand government and the Sai Prema Foundation.
The items were handed to National Disaster Management Office director Vasiti Soko and Ministry of Rural and Maritime Development and Disaster Management permanent secretary David Kolitagane by the foundation’s country director Sumeet Tappoo and New Zealand High Commissioner Jonathan Curr in Suva on Monday.
