Bannon L. Eimiller, 22, of Bemus Point, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 9, 2021, after being struck by a vehicle in the town of Ellery.
The son of Kenneth and Junie (Hilburger) Eimiller, he was born on June 17, 1998, in Jamestown, New York.
In 2016, he graduated from Jamestown High School, where he was a member of the Red Raider football team and ski club. He also played Babe Ruth Baseball (where in his younger years he was honored as the recipient of the Walt Roode [a well-known Jamestown figure] Award). He also participated in local basketball and soccer leagues.

A memorial Mass for Virginia P. Cusimano, 92, formerly of Memory Garden and 144 Allen St., who died Jan. 19, 2021, will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday in St. James Catholic Church.
A lifelong Jamestown resident, she was born Oct. 1, 1928, a daughter of the late John and Sarah Cusimano.
Prior to her retirement in 1990, she was employed by District 65 IAMAW as office secretary. She earlier had worked at Art Metal where she was president of the union.
Surviving are her God-daughters and caregivers Kathy Cordosi and Deanna Cordosi; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Josephine Healy; and a brother, Anthony Cusimano.

Heather M. Potter, 45, of 1250 Norby Rd. Jamestown, NY, passed away unexpectedly at 4:02 p.m., Monday, May 3, 2021, in UPMC Chautauqua.
A lifelong area resident, she was born Jan. 17, 1976, in Jamestown, N.Y., the daughter of Brenda Prosser Johnson and Rodney Potter, Jr.
Heather was a 1996 graduate of Jamestown High School where she received a standing ovation from her classmates when she received her diploma.
She was employed by the Resource Center, working at the Harris Avenue Group Home and had also worked for the Basket Company.
Heather was a member of the First Lutheran Church, where she loved reciting the Lord’s prayer. She was also a very proud member of the Benjamin Prescott Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, enjoying many events and functions.
Jack R. Engdahl
Jack R. Engdahl, 80, of Ashmar Lane, Jamestown, N.Y., passed away at 4:11 a.m. Thursday, April 22, 2021, in the Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility.
A lifelong area resident, he was born May 30, 1940, in Jamestown, N.Y,, a son of the late Robert O. and Genevieve Parker Engdahl.
Jack was a 1958 graduate of Mayville Central School. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in education from Brockport State University in 1962 and his Master of Science in education from Fredonia State in 1968. He furthered his education by receiving his school administrator and supervisor certificate in 1979 and his school district administrator certification in 1980 from Fredonia State University.
