The four-bedroom summer cottage at 42 Howes St. in Dennis will cost you $1,775 per square foot, but it comes with a private beach and unobstructed views of Cape Cod Bay that are hard to put a price on. This house has been in the same family since 1959. It was lovingly and well maintained, said Sandy Schwenk, a real estate agent at Steele Associates Real Estate in East Dennis. It makes you take a step back in time to old Cape Cod.
It s not hard to imagine owners of this house grilling on the large open deck, then retreating to the screened-in porch for board games and storytelling.
