Where to:Rutchada Thai Cuisine, bringing crispy rolls, curries, and khao soi to Roslindale since late 2020.
Why: Rutchada offers dishes youâve come to love at other Thai restaurants, made in house with fresh ingredients and personal attention. The team plans to introduce less-familiar specials in the future. âThe majority of our menu is something you can find elsewhere,â co-owner Siri Bandasak says. âHowever, we can assure you that itâs not the same. Everything that goes out from our restaurant is handmade. We wanted to focus on what weâre really good at and make sure customers are going to enjoy it.â

While Asian food in general and Chinese food in particular may rank high on Delhi s palate, Singaporean is one cuisine that has not enjoyed much of a presence. Here to take care of that is Mai Bao, from the chefs of fine dine Asian restaurant Kampai.
The menu is a medley of Malay, Cantonese, and South East Asian influences, in a modern presentation, and the only way to do justice to it is to meander our way through the many courses. For instance, there are the baos.
Not content to have just one varietal, Mai Bao has several, ranging from open faced Chicken, Mushroom, Duck, and Pork Baos to the original stuffed steam dumplings.
On Thursday, January 28th, Thai Pepper Restaurant will be open for a special celebration to honor the life of the late owner, Trakool, who died this year from complications with COVID-19.
The restaurant is inviting all of its long-time patrons to come and enjoy a free meal and simply asking for a donation in return that will go to Lubbock Impact, a local organization that helps the poor and poverty-stricken residents get back on their feet with food, clothing, healthcare, and all things in between.
Thai Pepper will only be open between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., and Trakool s wife and co-owner for Thai Pepper will be preparing meals until they run out of ingredients.
