COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – For the second straight game, the Coldwater Cardinals used a big sixth inning on Tuesday afternoon to rally past the Gull Lake Blue Devils 9-8 in a non-conference baseball game at Pat Lowe Field.
Gull Lake used a seven-run fourth inning to take a 7-1 lead before the Cardinals rallied.
They were down 7-2 entering the last of the sixth before they scored five runs to tie the game.
Cole Barker was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to cut the lead down to 7-3. Joe Closson and Aiden Marsden then followed with two-run singles.

Coldwater completed the sweep in the second game as they defeated the Blue Devils 10-3 to improve to 4-0.

In Provincial Court on Sept. 9:
Kasandra M.L. Burr was found guilty of assaulting a peace officer, sentenced to six days in jail and assessed a victim surcharge of $100.
Robert F. Basil was found guilty of failing to comply with a probation order, sentenced to one day in jail and assessed a victim surcharge of $100.
Shayne D. Williams was found guilty of failing to comply with a probation order and failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking or recognizance, sentenced to 51 days in jail and assessed a victim surcharge of $100.
In Provincial Court on Sept. 10:
Cole Burger was found guilty of unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, placed on probation for 12 months, assessed a victim surcharge of $100 and prohibited from possessing firearms for two years.
