Inglewood businesses were closed on Sunday morning due to a planned power outage.
Inglewood businesses were left without power on Sunday, after a planned outage saw them close for the morning. New World Supermarket, Cafe Windsor and Little Liberty Creamery were among businesses affected. PowerCo turned off the power to 91 properties at 8.47am for planned network project work, a Powerco media spokesperson said in an emailed statement. “The work, which involves replacing cross arms, will help ensure the power supply to the area is safe and reliable.” Customers had been notified of the outage beforehand, she said.
