Columbus police were called around 2:15 a.m. Thursday to the intersection of Morse Road and Cleveland Avenue on a report of a person who was struck by a vehicle. Police said in a press release that Javier Melendez, 39, of Worthington, was headed west on Morse Road in a 2007 Kia Sedona when his vehicle hit a pedestrian.  Research Volvo The male pedestrian, 36-year-old Hassan S.
