Before the Covid-19 pandemic gripped us all about 400,000 minivans were sold in the U.S. each year. You might ask: With the popularity of utility vehicles (UV) who is buying a minivan?
Well! Families with children under age 12 make up a big portion of minivan buyers. Minivans are also purchased by active lifestyle empty nesters. Today there are just four minivans on the U.S. market the Chrysler Pacifica, Honda Odyssey, Kia Sedona (being replaced by the Carnival) and Toyota Sienna…that’s it.
Honda says the Odyssey is America’s best retail-selling minivan for 10 years running. American consumers have purchased more than 1.1 million Odyssey minivans during that time.

Honda has the lowest average costs for service and warranty on its new vehicles among non-premium brands, while its Acura brand is tied with Lexus for premium brands. Meanwhile, electric vehicles (EVs) average twice as much in repair costs as conventional vehicles, and nearly three times as much as hybrids.
That’s from an inaugural report from analytics company We Predict, based in Michigan. The report,
Deepview True Cost Report, looked at service records for model-year-2021 vehicles after three months from delivery.

Hopewell bicyclist struck by car, suffers serious injuries
A collision between a bicyclist and a motorist at the intersection of East Broad Street and Princeton Avenue in Hopewell Borough sent the bicyclist to the hospital May 13, according to the Hopewell Township Police Department.
The bicyclist was riding east on East Broad Street and was struck by a 2015 Kia Sedona that was traveling west on East Broad Street as the motorist attempted to make a left turn onto Princeton Avenue, police said.
The bicyclist sustained serious injuries in the incident, which was reported to police at 4:12 p.m. May 13. The bicyclist was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton by the Hopewell Rescue Squad and Capital Health paramedics.
