PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information Technology Atif Khan said on Thursday that launching of 5G service in Peshawar was the proof of government’s commitment to developing the IT sector according to contemporary needs.
He said this during a ceremony held here to ink a memorandum of understanding with the Pakistan Telecommunication Corporation Limited.
The ceremony was also attended by information technology secretary Dr Ambar Ali, KP IT Board managing director Sahibzada Ali Mehmood and PTCL officials.
The minister said KP was the first province that had achieved a milestone by launching 5G service on experimental basis for consumers in Peshawar.
