BISHAM: Khyber Pakht-unkhwa Minister for Labour and Culture Shaukat Ali Yousafzai on Saturday said that the future of the youth was bright, as the government had launched a number of projects for the growth and development of youth through science and technology-based education and training.
“The provincial government has taken revolutionary steps for the provision of better job and business opportunities to the skilled youth in the province,” the minister said this as chief guest at a ceremony arranged by the Sarhad Rural Support Programme (SRSP) here.

SDC inaugurated in Charsadda

CHARSADDA: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Revenue and Estate Haji Qalandar Khan Lodhi on Thursday inaugurated the Service Delivery Centre (SDC) in Charsadda district to keep the land records safe through computerisation.
On the occasion, MPA Fazal Shakur Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Haseeb-ur-Rahman and other officials were also present.
Speaking to media persons at the inaugural ceremony, the provincial minister said that reforms had been brought in the revenue department with an aim to resolve land issues of people.
He further said that reforms had been introduced in the patwar system across the province while a complaint cell had also been established in the office of minister of revenue.
KP taking steps for promotion of medical tourism, says Taimur Jhagra

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Health and Finance, Taimur Saleem Khan Jhagra Monday said that the provincial government was taking steps for promotion of medical tourism.
He was talking to Peshawar-based Afghan Consul-General, NajeebullahAhmadzai, who called on him here. Besides, Secretary Health, Syed Imtiaz Hussain Shah, Afghan authorities were also present on the occasion.
The provincial minister said that a soft procedure would be evolved for medical visa to enable Afghan brethren to utilize better health facilities available in big hospitals of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said that Afghan nationals were provided treatment in all hospitals of the province and they were also utilizing free health facilities in locals.
