MADELIA, Minn. (KEYC) â Madelia junior basketball player JaâSean Glover is a scoring machine who picked up his 2,000th career point on Monday.
Glover is accustomed to scoring over 30 points-per-game, as he is a playmaker that wonât hesitate to score from anywhere on the floor.
The junior draws plenty of attention every time the ball in his hands, yet opposing teams still struggle to slow down the star.
âI would do the same thing other teams are doing, sending everyone I can at him,â head coach Jeff Van Hee said. âTheyâve seen him play for years and respect his abilities. They know that if theyâre going to compete and take us out of games, they need to limit him as much as possible.â

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) â The Mankato Loyola boysâ basketball team is ranked sixth in the state, thanks, in part, to the play of senior guard Logan Carlson.
Carlson is averaging nearly 15 points and five assists per game this season.
The multi-sport athlete is doing a bit of everything on the floor for the Crusaders this year while being a leader for the younger players on the team.
âHe leads by example,â head coach Sam Carlson said. âHe worked really hard in the offseason and he works really hard in practice. Heâs always the first one in sprints. Heâs always pushing guys to be better. He does the little things [that] I want a point guard and senior to do. He hasnât played point guard a lot before this year, so there were some growing pains, but heâs pa
