The boys basketball team brought home a state championship.
The baseball team is still undefeated in the section tournament.
And the softball team is making noise, too. Hayfield is the best. The community is unlike anything I think any town around us really experiences. We saw it with the boys basketball team, says senior pitcher Caitlyn Hendrickson.
The Hayfield softball team got the number two seed heading into sections and they already have two wins to start the tournament.

WATERVILLE, Minn. (KEYC) â Waterville-Elysian-Morristown seniors Brielle Bartelt and Toryn Richards make their collegiate plans official after great consideration.
Bartelt will continue her basketball career with Iowa Lakes Community College and Richards with volleyball and track and field at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
âI think my main thing was being closer to home,â Richards said. âI do love family and just being closer to home helps. I know Mankato really well, I love their facilities, amazing facilities, I met the team, I love the team there, the coaches and I have an amazing connection.â
