New arraignment date for Westford teacher accused of online harassment

Wicked Local WESTFORD The arraignment of a Westford Academy teacher accused of criminal harassment and identity fraud has been delayed for a second time. The new arraignment date for Michael Colson of Littleton, a history teacher, is March 23 at Ayer District Court, according to court records.  Colson was originally scheduled to be arraigned on Feb. 10. The date was then moved to Feb. 24, court personnel confirmed. Colson, the former president of the Westford Educators Association, faces charges of criminal harassment and identity fraud, including alleged harassment through email messages and Facebook.  The charges are listed in court documents as misdemeanors. Colson has not been arrested. The Eagle-Independent has reached out to Colson and his attorney.

Wicked Local WESTFORD A Westford Academy teacher faces charges of criminal harassment and identity fraud, including alleged harassment through email messages and Facebook.  An arraignment is set for Feb. 10 in Ayer District Court for Michael Colson of Littleton, a history teacher and former president of the Westford Education Association,  The charges are listed in court documents as misdemeanors. Colson has not been arrested; the Eagle-Independent has reached out to Colson. Harassment complaint According to court documents, the harassment victim, a woman who lives in town, reported to Westford police on June 22. The victim said had been targeted and harassed by someone on Facebook, through what the victim believed was a bogus account.
