New arraignment date for Westford teacher accused of online harassment

Wicked Local WESTFORD The arraignment of a Westford Academy teacher accused of criminal harassment and identity fraud has been delayed for a second time. The new arraignment date for Michael Colson of Littleton, a history teacher, is March 23 at Ayer District Court, according to court records.  Colson was originally scheduled to be arraigned on Feb. 10. The date was then moved to Feb. 24, court personnel confirmed. Colson, the former president of the Westford Educators Association, faces charges of criminal harassment and identity fraud, including alleged harassment through email messages and Facebook.  The charges are listed in court documents as misdemeanors. Colson has not been arrested. The Eagle-Independent has reached out to Colson and his attorney.
