WARREN, Mich. – A house explosion claimed the life of one and impacted many others living on Villa Pointe Drive in Warren Sunday evening.

Authorities said that at about 6:12 p.m., for some reason, a double condo suddenly blew up out of nowhere. Neighbors shot cell phone video that captured how intense the flames were following the initial explosion.
“Two condos have been completely obliterated. Unfortunately, there is one deceased male,” said Warren fire Commissioner Wilbert McAdams. “We found the owner in the basement.”

The Community Respect Project, a part of the National Community Resource Center, kicked off its first day of community listening days Wednesday afternoon at the RCTC Heintz Building.

King s Lynn BID hosted a virtual Budget Briefing this afternoon to discuss the Chancellor s statement, and how it will directly affect businesses in West Norfolk.
The virtual event, which was held in partnership with Stephenson Smart and Kenneth Bush, provided an opportunity to raise questions on the Chancellor s Budget Statement and the implication for businesses.
West Norfolk MP James Wild said: The chancellor was honest about the challenges but what didnât happen was the immediate tax rises which were expected. I donât think this is a softening up exercise, I wouldn t rule out other changes coming.
