Binder Park Zoo selected as recipient for Lowe’s “100 Hometowns” project By Will Kriss

BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) â Tuesday, Binder Park Zoo (BPZ) in Battle Creek announced that it has been selected as one of 100 recipients for the Loweâs â100 Hometownsâ project.
The project awards were announced to the public Tuesday. More than 2,2000 submissions were considered for the project, which is also an initiative to celebrate the Loweâs centennial.

Binder Park Zooâs submission sought support for a new exhibit called Zoorassic Park. Currently under construction on the site of the former childrenâs zoo, the exhibit will showcase a collection of prehistoric creatures.
