James D. Lautz II, 30, of Troy, and Kelsey T. McClelland, 32, of Washington Park, were both charged with aggravated unlawful possession of stolen motor vehicle parts, both Class 1 felonies, and three counts each of unlawful possession of stolen motor vehicle parts, all Class 2 felonies. The cases were presented by the Madison County Sheriff’s Department. According to court documents, on Jan. 8 the two allegedly were in possession of stolen catalytic converters from numerous vehicles. The parts had been stolen from cars in Pocahontas.

Janet Evans, left, and Jason Young LOCK HAVEN There were a pair of arrests following an early morning search of a Lock Haven apartment, authorities said on Thursday. According to CrimeWatch, on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, officers and agents from the Region IV East Drug Task Force executed a narcotics search warrant at a third floor apartment at 5 Corning St. in Lock Haven. Upon execution of the search warrant, two individuals were located inside the residence Janet Evans, 19 and Jason Young, 45. Authorities said Young was located in the bathroom of the residence, allegedly discarding crystal methamphetamine in the sink and toilet. Once the residence was secured, officers and agents began searching the residence at which time, they said, an additional 20 grams of crystal methamphetamine, $367. A total of three Apple cell phones and multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia were located throughout the residence.
