WELLSVILLE Curt Crandall called it making lemonade out of lemons.
With the news last week that the massive Siemens Dresser Rand facility in Wellsville is being repurposed as the Wellsville Business Park, and actively recruiting new tenants, the Allegany County Board of Legislators Chairman said the site may soon return to its position as a job creator for the region.
“It wasn’t long ago everybody was wondering what is it we’re going to do with this facility?” Crandall said. “This facility has a long history in Allegany County for manufacturing and providing jobs.
