The Hanover Rotary Club has won the Not For Profit Excellence Award as part of the Hanover Chamber of Commerce Awards.
The Hanover Rotary Club was founded on April 2, 1939, and after more than 80 years of service, much has been accomplished.

Membership reached a high of 30-plus members in the 1950s and currently the number of members is 25-plus, and the club remains a vibrant and active organization within the communities of Hanover and West Grey. The membership includes men and women of all ages and from all walks of life.

The region saw 225 new COVID-19 cases logged over the weekend.
Region of Waterloo Public Health reported 118 cases on Saturday and 107 on Sunday.
There are 62 people hospitalized with the infection, 27 of which are in intensive care units in the region.

Region of Waterloo Public Health is reporting 146 new cases of COVID-19 over the weekend. There were 63 new cases reported on Saturday and 83 logged on Sunday. There was one COVID-related death reported on Saturday.
