Earlier this month we reported the 2021 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 will be receiving a third equipment package called the Carbon Fiber Handling Package. Ford immediately confirmed this but one major detail remained unknown: pricing. Today, it appears we have our answer. CarBuzz reached out to Ford who confirmed that the Carbon Fiber Handling Package will cost $10,000 once it goes on sale in the very near future.
As previously noted, the Carbon Fiber Handling Package will act as a middle ground between the $1,500 Handling Package and the $18,500 Carbon Fiber Track Pack. We re only surprised it s taken Ford a whole model year to launch the new package given the $17,000 price difference between the existing two.

While the biggest addition to the 2021 pony car lineup was the Mustang Mach 1, we also learned that a new Carbon Fiber Handling Package, which marries the $18,500 Carbon Fiber Track Pack and the $1,500 Handling Pack, will be added to the options list for the supercharged Stang.
We didn t know the pricing back then, but we now have a definite number thanks to an order form shared by Ford. According to the company, the Carbon Fiber Handling Package is a $10,000 option, right in between the aforementioned Track Pack and Handling Pack. In contrast to the modern Bimmer, the Mustang appears to be a fiercely retro throwback.
