WILLMAR West central Minnesota has had few new COVID-19 cases reported in recent weeks.
However, area health officials are keeping an eye on the delta variant which is spreading quickly in other parts of the country.

Volunteers were welcomed Thursday, July 22, 2021, to the COVID-19 Volunteer Appreciation Event at the Kandiyohi County Health and Human Services building with a wall of recognition that highlighted their achievements over the past eight months. Sixty-seven volunteers totaled 1,160 hours of their time to give more than 8,400 vaccinations.
