Montserrat Commencement held May 21

The Montserrat College of Art Class of 2021 officially graduated from the college on May 21.
The commencement ceremony was held as a drive-in event at the Danversport Yacht Club. Seventy-one seniors received their Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees on a stage encircled by screens and banners. Even the traditional bagpipers were in attendance to provide the ceremonial soundtrack.
Family-members and guests of the students viewed the event from their vehicles, while the audio was broadcast via FM transmitter to the car radios. Those not in physical attendance were able to watch the event from home via livestream.

NORWOOD Norwood-Norfolk Central School has named its valedictorian and salutatorian for this school year.
Kiera Fetter, daughter of Kent and Robin Fetter of Norwood, is the valedictorian of the NNCS Class of 2021 with an average of 98.71. Kiera will be graduating with an Advanced Regents Diploma with Honors. She has taken honors classes including AP U.S history, AP Calculus, AP Biology, college credit Public Speaking, Precalculus, English Composition, Statistics, Government as well as upper level science courses including Chemistry and Physics.
Kiera is involved in a variety of activities including Varsity Club, National Honor Society, Art Club, Bel Aires, Jazz Band, and Whiz Quiz. She has been the vice president of the Class of 2021 for the past three years, Senior Band secretary for four years, Drama Club secretary and treasurer, and Spanish Club treasurer. She par

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (Unison Bank) – Unison Bank announced the Jamestown High School (JHS) Art Class as its featured artist for May 2021.
Each month, Unison Bank features local artists, photographers, quilters and creators and their products or services. Since 2013, they have featured 87 artisans.
May’s featured artist group, JHS Art Class, have displayed a variety of artwork within the lobby of Unison Bank in Jamestown, N.D. A few unique pieces that the group has worked on to display includes painted ceiling tiles as part of a senior class art project, various artwork from Art 2 class and pencil portraits by Art 1 class.
