Jan 26, 2021 HARRISBURG Now officially serving her second full term as majority chair of the House Health Committee, Rep. Kathy Rapp, R-Warren/Crawford/Forest, is once again pursuing an agenda focusing on the sanctity and quality of all human life, which will not only include advancing sweeping pro-life legislation, but also exercising full legislative oversight on Pennsylvania’s plan to deploy the COVID-19 vaccine. The House Health Committee deals with issues such as abortion, disease management, health savings accounts, hospital-acquired infections, Medical Assistance, patient safety, prescription drug pricing, telemedicine, welfare reform, rural issues, vital statistics (birth and death certificates) and much more. Rapp is also returning to serve as majority co-chair of the bipartisan Pennsylvania House Pro-Life Caucus and a member of the House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee.

Oil Creek Titusville Lines to receive grant | News, Sports, Jobs

Jan 21, 2021 HARRISBURG – Oil Creek Titusville Lines Inc. received a $140,000 grant for rail freight improvements, said Reps. Lee James, R-Venango/Butler, and Kathy Rapp, R-Warren/Crawford/Forest. The grant will improve operations by extending a passing siding by 1,000 feet. “I was excited to see that Oil Creek Titusville Lines received this funding – good for them,” James said. “It’s positive that the funding will be used to improve operations at a time when supply chains have been disrupted not just in northwestern Pennsylvania but all over the country.” The State Transportation Commission voted to approve 26 rail freight projects across the Commonwealth through the Rail Transportation Assistance Program and the Rail Freight Assistance Program.

“PA Lawmakers: Numbers Don’t Add Up, Certification of Presidential Results Premature and In Error HARRISBURG – A group of state lawmakers performing extensive analysis of election data today revealed troubling discrepancies between the numbers of total votes counted and total number of voters who voted in the 2020 General Election, and as a result are questioning how the results of the presidential election could possibly have been certified by Secretary of the Commonwealth Kathy Boockvar and Governor Tom Wolf. These findings are in addition to prior concerns regarding actions by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the Secretary, and others impacting the conduct of the election.
