Oil Creek Titusville Lines to receive grant | News, Sports, Jobs

Jan 21, 2021 HARRISBURG – Oil Creek Titusville Lines Inc. received a $140,000 grant for rail freight improvements, said Reps. Lee James, R-Venango/Butler, and Kathy Rapp, R-Warren/Crawford/Forest. The grant will improve operations by extending a passing siding by 1,000 feet. “I was excited to see that Oil Creek Titusville Lines received this funding – good for them,” James said. “It’s positive that the funding will be used to improve operations at a time when supply chains have been disrupted not just in northwestern Pennsylvania but all over the country.” The State Transportation Commission voted to approve 26 rail freight projects across the Commonwealth through the Rail Transportation Assistance Program and the Rail Freight Assistance Program.
