HARRISBURG Now officially serving her second full term as majority chair of the House Health Committee, Rep. Kathy Rapp, R-Warren/Crawford/Forest, is once again pursuing an agenda focusing on the sanctity and quality of all human life, which will not only include advancing sweeping pro-life legislation, but also exercising full legislative oversight on Pennsylvania’s plan to deploy the COVID-19 vaccine.
The House Health Committee deals with issues such as abortion, disease management, health savings accounts, hospital-acquired infections, Medical Assistance, patient safety, prescription drug pricing, telemedicine, welfare reform, rural issues, vital statistics (birth and death certificates) and much more. Rapp is also returning to serve as majority co-chair of the bipartisan Pennsylvania House Pro-Life Caucus and a member of the House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee.
