Guidelines for private school activities and trips issued

Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education, represented by the private education affairs sector, has issued the general guidelines for school activities and trips in private schools and kindergartens.
The guidelines aim to enhance classroom and extra-curricula activities in various educational, cultural and developmental fields, and enrich the leisure time of students for useful things.
The plans for activities and school trips in schools and kindergartens for the State of Qatar are among the important plans that help achieve educational goals.

Distinct texture and colour composition stand out in the paintings by Iraqi artist Falah Al Saeedi being showcased at a virtual exhibition dubbed “Prism” launched by the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) on its website.
Al Saeedi’s stunning colour layering and use of geometric patterns result to highly complex timeless works akin to classic paintings by masters. With varying subjects-from Arabian stallions to warriors mounted on horseback-the paintings are a visual feast which exudes Al Saeedi’s unique style and the technical expertise the artist has mastered through over three decades of prolific art practice.

The most recent board meeting of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 LLC (Q22) was held on Thursday, 11 February, prior to the FIFA Club World Cup Qatar 2020™ final between Bayern Munich and Tigres UANL at Education City Stadium.
It was held via videoconference due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The board reviewed key achievements and looked ahead to upcoming events and milestones, including the final four stadium inaugurations and the FIFA Arab Cup™, which will be held in Qatar at the end of 2021.
